Fun stuff

So yesterday Rebecca found the "baby food" in her play kitchen and was going to feed it to her doll. I heard her say, "pay"--her version of "pray," so I turned around and looked. She folded her hands together (like she was holding her own hands--I usually hold them), spoke some gibberish softly and gently, and said, "AMEN" quite clearly. So sweet, and such a responsibility for we parents. They're going to copy everything they see, aren't they?!

Elizabeth is compulsively pulling herself up to stand in the crib and playpen. She only sits when she's so tired she can't stand anymore. She's been just flopping down, but the last day or two, it seems like she tries to be more careful. I don't think I'm ready for this--she's not even seven months!

We went strawberry-picking recently (an early birthday treat for me from Peter and Amanda), and Malachi and Rebecca thoroughly enjoyed eating everything they could pick. I think some leaves were ingested as well, but I suppose that's just as good for them. Check out the pictures.
